Accessibility of Healthcare at Home products relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of firmware and accessibility settings on your mobile device or tablet.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. We strive for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance on the Sciensus Intouch App. In addition, we also exceed this in some cases and are working towards Level AAA success criteria. Because the site is constantly in development, some areas may not consistently reflect adherence to this standard. We are working towards it and will do whatever we can to adhere.
We follow strict guidelines in our testing approach. These include, but are not limited to functional testing, compatibility testing, security testing, penetration testing and performance testing. Our approach is industry leading, and a heavy focus is placed on user
experience. We develop our App in an iterative way, with stringent checks made along the way ensuring only the best possible experience makes it to our app users. Sometimes a known issue is released with a version of the app. This will be small and affect very few users. These will be listed in the release notes of the version of the app in the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.
